The Standards Behind Every MedRoyal Batch

MedRoyal manufactures; Alva Medica distributes — and both halves of that partnership are accountable. This page shows what stands behind the products we deliver: our manufacturing partner's quality standards, production process and quality control, and what we add as the official distributor.

What quality standards does MedRoyal production work under?

MedRoyal manufactures under quality and production systems that meet the EU requirements applicable to each product class. As the official distributor, we pass the manufacturer's documentation through to partners in the document package.

  • Production to EU requirements

Manufacturing conditions, hygiene regimes and documented procedures for the production, control, storage and shipment of every product MedRoyal makes — aligned with the EU requirements for its class.

  • Batch-level quality control

Rigorous quality control on every batch: each production run is tested against its specification before release, with in-process checks at defined critical points.

  • EU regulatory conformity

MedRoyal products are placed on the market under the EU framework applicable to their class — with conformity documentation, safety assessment and full traceability.

How is a MedRoyal product made?

Four controlled stages separate a formulation concept from a product in your clinic — all inside the manufacturer's quality system.

  1. 01

    Formulation & development

MedRoyal develops formulas with scientific partners and iterates them against stability, safety and performance criteria before any scale-up.

  2. 02

    Raw material qualification

Every ingredient enters production with supplier qualification and identity testing — no raw material is used on certificate alone.

  3. 03

    Controlled manufacturing

Production runs in controlled-environment facilities in the EU under documented procedures, with in-process checks at defined critical points.

  4. 04

    Batch release & traceability

Each batch is tested against its specification before release and remains fully traceable from raw materials to the clinic it ships to.

What does quality control mean in practice?

Every batch MedRoyal releases is tested against its specification — physicochemical parameters, microbiological purity and packaging integrity — before a single unit leaves the facility. A batch that fails any parameter is not reworked into the market; it is rejected and investigated by the manufacturer.

Distribution adds its own obligations, and we take them seriously: Alva Medica sources exclusively from MedRoyal, stores products to the manufacturer's specifications and ships them under conditions that preserve batch integrity. From any product in a partner clinic, the chain of custody runs in one unbroken line back to MedRoyal's production records — that is what authenticity means in practice.

Documentation is part of the product. Partners receive the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheets and instructions for use as standard, with Certificates of Analysis and conformity documentation available for every batch on request.
