Private Label & Contract Manufacturing
Your Brand, Made with a Private Label Cosmetics Manufacturer in Europe
Alva Medica delivers private label projects together with our manufacturing partner MedRoyal — a premium Polish manufacturer producing to EU quality standards. From first formulation to a CPNP-notified, shelf-ready product, one point of contact coordinates formulation, production, packaging and the complete regulatory dossier for beauty brands, clinic chains and distributors across Europe.
What does our private label and contract manufacturing cover?
Contract manufacturing of aesthetic products — coordinated by Alva Medica and executed by our manufacturing partner MedRoyal — covers the full path from concept to market: formulation, EU-standard production, packaging and regulatory documentation. You choose the scope — a proven formulation under your label, or a custom product developed from scratch in the partner laboratory.
Formulation development
MedRoyal's laboratory develops custom formulations to your brief — texture, actives, claims — or adapts a proven formulation from its library. You approve physical lab samples before any production commitment.
EU-standard production
Manufacturing in Poland under documented procedures that meet EU requirements for this product class: batch records and release quality control on every run — the same regime behind MedRoyal's own premium product lines.
Packaging & design
We source primary and secondary packaging, coordinate decoration and printing, and prepare label and carton artwork that meets EU labelling requirements — or work from your ready designs.
Documentation & regulatory
Every product ships with a complete dossier: safety assessment (CPSR), Product Information File and CPNP notification — so your brand can legally sell across the EU from day one.
Flexible minimums
Minimum volumes are agreed individually per project — small-batch friendly, so you can validate a product before scaling, with volume pricing that rewards growth.
Speed to market
A white label product on a library formulation is the fastest route to shelf; custom developments take longer, including safety assessment. A realistic schedule is agreed individually at the feasibility stage.
How does the private label process work?
Five steps from brief to delivered product. Timelines depend on project scope and are agreed individually — white label projects on existing formulations run faster than custom developments.

Brief & feasibility
We define the product together: category, target markets, claims, packaging and volumes. You receive a feasibility assessment — confirmed with the manufacturer — and a transparent quotation.

Formulation & sampling
The MedRoyal laboratory develops the formulation and sends physical samples for your evaluation. Iterations continue until you approve texture, scent and performance.

Delivery & registration support
We deliver EU-wide, complete the CPNP notification and support market-specific registration questions — so launch day is a marketing task, not a regulatory one.

Who do we build brands for?
Beauty brands
Founders and established brands that need a European manufacturing route: custom formulation, credible EU provenance and the documentation that retailers and investors ask for.
Clinics & clinic chains
Aesthetic clinics launching their own retail line. Post-treatment and professional-care products your patients already trust — under your name, sold in your treatment rooms.
Distributors
Distributors extending their portfolio with an own-brand line: stronger margins than resale, territory control, and a manufacturer that stays invisible on the label.
Why run your private label project with Alva Medica?
9+ years in aesthetic products
We have supplied professional aesthetic products for over nine years, and our manufacturing partner MedRoyal produces its own premium lines under the same quality system your product will run on.
Made in Poland, made for the EU
Production happens at an EU cosmetics manufacturer — private label production inside the regulatory zone your product will sell in. No import barriers, no compliance gaps, short logistics.
Documentation you own
You receive the complete product dossier — CPSR, Product Information File and test reports — with formulation ownership defined clearly in the contract, not left to assumption.
Small-batch friendly
Individually agreed minimums and scalable batch sizes mean you can test, learn and grow — without financing a warehouse of unsold stock.
Private label manufacturing — frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for private label production?
Minimum order quantities are agreed individually per project, depending on formulation and packaging. White label products on library formulations allow the smallest runs; custom formulations may require larger first runs to cover development. Exact minimums are confirmed with the manufacturer and stated in your quotation.
How long does it take to launch a private label product?
A white label skincare product on an existing formulation is the fastest route to market; a custom formulation developed from scratch takes longer, including sampling, stability testing, safety assessment and CPNP notification. The realistic schedule is agreed individually at the feasibility stage — packaging lead times are usually the critical path, so we flag them early.
What is the difference between private label and white label manufacturing?
White label means an existing, proven formulation sold under your brand — the fastest and most economical route to market. Private label in the full sense adds customisation: your own formulation, actives, texture and packaging, developed to your brief. Together with MedRoyal — an experienced white label skincare manufacturer and custom formulation partner — we offer either route and help you choose based on budget and timeline.
Do you handle EU regulatory compliance and CPNP notification?
Yes. Every product leaves with a complete EU dossier: a cosmetic product safety report (CPSR) prepared by a qualified safety assessor, the Product Information File and the CPNP notification. We also support your EU Responsible Person setup and prepare label content that meets Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.
Can you source packaging, or do we supply our own?
Both. We source jars, airless bottles, ampoules, tubes and secondary packaging through our supplier network, and coordinate decoration and print. If you have packaging contracted already, its compatibility with the formulation is validated during stability testing — before production, not after.
Do you sign NDAs, and who owns the formulation?
We sign a mutual NDA before any technical discussion — standard practice, at no cost. Formulation ownership is defined in the manufacturing agreement: a custom formulation developed and paid for by you can be contractually assigned to your brand, while the manufacturer's library formulations remain MedRoyal's and are licensed for your label.
