Description
Cannulamed is a flexible, surgical-steel blunt-tip cannula engineered for precise, even delivery of dermal fillers of any viscosity. The closed, rounded tip minimises the risk of damaging vessels, tissue and nerves — significantly reducing bruising and swelling — while a single entry point covers broad facial areas, cutting puncture count and patient discomfort. Each cannula carries convenient graduation markings; available in 8 sizes from 18G to 25G, boxed in 10 (18G) or 20 pieces.
Indications
- Implantation of fillers of varying viscosity
- Skin revitalisation and hydration treatments
- Facial contour and texture improvement
- Wrinkle-reduction procedures requiring broad, even product distribution
Application protocol
- 01Select gauge and length per product viscosity and target zone (e.g. 25G for fine facial work, 18G for high-viscosity or body products).
- 02Create the entry point with an appropriately sized sharp needle, then introduce the cannula.
- 03Deliver product retrograde in even passes, using the shaft graduations for depth control.
- 04Single-use only — discard per clinical sharps-waste procedure after the session.
For professional use only. The complete application protocol is included in the manufacturer's product documentation and covered during partner training.
Frequently asked questions
Why choose a blunt cannula over a sharp needle for fillers?
The closed, rounded tip pushes vessels and nerves aside instead of piercing them, which materially lowers the risk of vascular injury, bruising and swelling. One entry point also reaches broad areas — the source data cites up to 50% more efficient application with a minimum of punctures.
Which Cannulamed size should I use for which procedure?
As a rule of thumb: 25G/38–50 mm for delicate facial zones and fluid products, 22–23G/50–70 mm for midface and jawline work with standard fillers, and 18G/70–110 mm for high-viscosity products and body zones. All 8 sizes are available individually, so clinics stock only what their case mix needs.
How many cannulas are in a box?
The 18G sizes (70 mm and 110 mm) come in boxes of 10; all 22G, 23G and 25G sizes come in boxes of 20. Every cannula is sterile and single-use.
